Honest Scrap Award!!

Three beautiful bloggers have given me this award! I am so HONORED.
Thanks ladies. Zainab1 at http://aunaturale007.blogspot.com/ Milan at http://www.agrlcanmac.com/ and  Mae at http://www.naturalchica.com/  are the three fantastic bloggers who bestowed this award upon me.

As per the rules, here are 10 honest things about me:

1. I do not watch television. EVER! We opted not to get cable  so nothing comes through the television  but static...just the way I like it.

2. Although I just had Shea Baby, and there are moments when he's screaming at the top of his lungs and  I feel like I should be the one crying; I CANNOT WAIT for the next one. I would love to have three total! Preferably two more boys.

3. When I was in highschool I went to Math and Science camp in the summers! By choice. And had a blast!

4. Besides natural hair I am very passionate about organic food. I feel that many, if not all diseases that are rampant today are a result of the diet the average American consumes. If we were to all eat organic foods and eliminate red meat from our diets I think we would see a DRASTIC decrease in diseases.

5. Along with my weave addiction, I got rid of a gel nail and pedicure addiction. I used to be at the nail salon every week. I would get a polish change on both my hand and feet in between fill ins! Not to mention I always got nail art. I would easily spend $120  a month on it. ** SO if you saw my you tube video where I talked about my nails, this why the $6.00 cheapies from Wal-Mart made me feel so good :)

6. I don't sleep. Thanks to Shea Baby, the business and just plain old bad habits, I spend alot of time awake. But to be honest with you, I look forward to accomplishing all of my daily goals so it's hard for me to get in the bed. I guess what I really should be saying is, I'm a WORKAHOLIC!! **Is there an anonymous group for that?!

7. I love to read! And at this point only read non-fiction.

8. My nose used to be pierced, my tongue and my belly button. All gone now though. I kept snatching the nose ring out in my sleep so I got rid of it. When I joined the Marine Corps and went to boot camp, I had to take out my belly button ring. I was tired of hiding my tongue ring from my parents (I was a teen at the time) so I just took it out.

9. I have a pet fish named Sunshine who I talk to and has been alive for going on two years.

10. I LOVE thrift stores and consignment shops! I have gotten to the point where their's are the only prices I find reasonable for clothes. Yep! I'm extremely frugal. And for some strange reason I find comfort in my new found frugality.

SO there you have it, I am a certified wierdo in real life :)

Thrift stores are the truth! By the way, do you find it expensive to be on an organic food diet? I've been wanting to try it but I'm working with a very limited budget. Any tips you can give would be greatly appreciated chica! : )

Im still trying to get into thrift stores (I never seem to find what Im looking for when Im in there) but I thought I was the only one lacking on the sleep side LOL. I am a self professed night owl. I keep trying to get more sleep but I can never seem to sit still long enough to get the recommended 8 hours (and I dont have a new baby anymore)

I agree 100% about diet and disease. I believe meat in general is the contributing factor as well as so many processed foods.
