Holidays stressing you out? Try this NATURAL REMEDY!

As a Naturally Fabulous girl, I always try to find a natural remedy for all that ails me. Including stress. And I have found Essential oils to be just what the doctor ordered! They are not only great for skin and hair, but also ones mental well being.

Included in my arsenal of Essential oils is Lavender and Clary Sage, which are both multi-functional oils no Naturally Fabulous girl should be without.

Lavender oil has a soothing and calming effect on the nerves, relieving tension, depression, panic, hysteria and nervous exhaustion in general and is effective for headaches, migraines and insomnia.

On the skin, lavender oil tones and revitalizes and it is useful for all types of skin problems such as abscesses, acne, oily skin, boils, burns, sunburn, wounds, psoriasis, lice, insect bites, stings and also acts as an insect repellent.

Do you have an oil burner or vaporizer? Throw in a few drops of lavender oil for these results-

In vapor therapy, lavender oil can be useful for allergies, anorexia, dizziness, sleeplessness (also in children), hay fever, headaches, depression, trauma, anxiety, hysteria, fear, nightmares, irritability, nervous tension and as an insect repellant. Apart from that it can assist to lift depression, help in crisis situations, sooth irritability and relieve stress and thereby help with tense muscles and muscle spasms.

Clary sage is calming to the nervous system, particularly in cases of depression, stress, insomnia and deep seated tension. It furthermore is a good tonic for the womb and female functions in general, such as painful periods, scanty menstruation and relaxation during labor, thus encouraging a less painful birth.

During menopause, clary sage oil can help reduce hot flushes, night sweats, palpitations, irritability, as well as headaches and dizziness.

Use a few drops in an oil burner or vaporizer for these results-

In vapor therapy, clary sage oil can be used for nervous tension, stress, depression, anxiety, insomnia and menopause. It is particularly effective to help ease depression and create a more positive outlook on life and can also help to boost the creative side and intuition.

I have used both of these oils on a regular basis. I usually add a few drops of each to a little water in my oil burner and fall asleep to the fragrant, calming smell of these two oils. They have helped everyone in my home sleep better and helped me TREMENDOUSLY during my pregnancy. I can become easily flustered at times and burning this oil in my home has helped create a calm and relaxing environment.

While in labor at home, I burned these oils and was able to breath through my contractions. I forgot to take it with me to the hospital and paid the price for it :)

So if you are feeling a little stressed by the holidays or life in general, try burning these oils and see if it does not help you feel better. I have known these oils to resolve insomnia, depression, anxiety and more.

Try it this Holiday Season.
